I went into Precision Acura on Princeton on Christmas Eve of 2012, knowing exactly what I wanted: a pre-owned, certified, Silver, low-mileage Acura RDX. As I looked around, Debro Kent made himself available and lead to me to exactly what I was looking for. Right on the lot, there was a Silver, 2010, low-mileage (because it was a lease/return vehicle) RDX; I almost could not believe my eyes...or my luck!Debro listened to me in terms of my thoughts and concerns about purchasing a new vehicle, considering that I had not done so in over 9 years. He patiently and diligently walked me through the process of checking out the vehicle, in terms of the miles, available features and assessing the vehicle from hood to trunk. We then sat in the RDX for an extended period of time to review the many, many (cool) features available in the vehicle- considering that the model that I purchased is a "tech" model. Debro then took me on a test drive, all the while clearly explaining to me all the benefits that this particular vehicle provided. Next, we returned to the showroom, at which point Debro reviewed the CARFAX with me, again, to ensure that I understood everything about the vehicle. I genuinely appreciated all of Debro's time and effort and at no point did I feel pressured or concerned that there was any level of thickery or shenanigans going on.I would definitely give Pricision Acura...and, Debro Kent a perfect "10" for their great service!!

To say that the sales people at other location were sleezy is an understatement. I already knew what kind of car I wanted I just needed someone to help me figure out my finance options and what would work best for me. Acura Automobiles: 2013 Acura TL Earns the New Highest IIHS Rating of TOP SAFETY PICK+

The 2013 Acura TL luxury performance sedan is among the first vehicles to receive the highest possible safety rating of TOP SAFETY PICK+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) under its more-stringent testing guidelines that now include the new small overlap frontal crash test. The IIHS small overlap frontal crash test is designed to simulate a collision between a vehicle and a fixed object, such as a tree or utility pole, where only 25 percent of the vehicles front structure is engaged by the opposing object.

In addition to the TL achieving TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating, four additional Acura vehicles have received TOP SAFETY PICK ratings from the IIHS. The Acura ILX, TSX, MDX and RDX have all earned the top rating of GOOD in all four rating areas, including the more rigorous roof-strength test.

The new IIHS small overlap frontal crash test involves a collision between a fixed five-foot-tall rigid barrier and a vehicle traveling at 40 miles per hour. This frontal impact test focuses stress on a narrow section of the vehicle, outside of the side frame, which is typically the primary energy absorbing structure in frontal crashes, and requires a strong cabin structure. According to a 2009 study by the IIHS, small overlap crashes accounted for nearly 25 percent of frontal crashes resulting in a serious injury or fatality. The Acura TL was the first of two vehicles to achieve the highest rating of GOOD in the small overlap frontal crash test.

Acura's "Safety Through Innovation" initiative is based on the brand's commitment to make safety a top element in every new vehicle that Acura builds. As such, Acura is in the process of incorporating the next generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering II (ACE II) body structure to all fully redesigned models. This reinforced front frame structure provides further enhanced frontal crash energy management through a wider range of offset and oblique crashes. The result of such efforts should increase occupant protection while also increasing the likelihood of achieving a GOOD rating in the IIHS new frontal small overlap crash testing, with new Acura model introductions moving forward. The all-new 2014 Acura RLX flagship sedan coming to market in early 2013 will be the first to utilize the next-generation ACE II body structure.

All models in the current Acura line up utilize the Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure. ACE is an exclusive body design that enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility in frontal crashes. The ACE design utilizes a network of connected structural elements to distribute crash energy more evenly throughout the front of the vehicle. This enhanced frontal crash energy management helps to reduce the forces transferred to the passenger compartment.

Standard safety equipment on all Acura models includes Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control, ABS, dual-stage/multiple-threshold front airbags, front-side airbags, side curtain airbags for all outboard seating positions, front seatbelts with automatic tensioning system and load limiters, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

Acura Automobiles: Acura to Present the World Premiere of History of the Eagles: Part One at 2013 Sundance Film Festival

Third time presenting auto sponsor of the Sundance Film Festival, Acura, will be presenting multi-GRAMMY award winning rock band, the Eagles, world premiere of their documentary, History of the Eagles: Part One at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Prior to the film's premiere, the innovative "Acura Studio" in Park City will host a special appearance by the Eagles Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit and an exclusive preview clip from the film.

History of the Eagles: Part One will premiere on Saturday, January 19 at 9:30 p.m. at The Eccles Theater and will be followed by a Q&A with producer Alex Gibney and director Alison Ellwood.

"For the last 5 years, and intensely this past year, we have been putting together this documentary of our history with Alex and Alison, who have contributed their extraordinary talents to help us tell our story," said Glenn Frey of the Eagles. "We're all very pleased with the progress so far, and are excited to see the finished product at Sundance."

The film explores the band's creation and rise to fame in the 1970s through their breakup in 1980. More than 25 new interviews were conducted with all current and former band members, as well as with many others who have been closely involved in their history. In addition, the documentary features previously unreleased home movies and archival footage, including a rare 1977 concert film from the Hotel California tour. Personal photos, video and memorabilia amassed by the Eagles over the course of their career will also be seen for the very first time.
