Our interactions with everyone at the dealership were excellent, starting from the salesperson Ahmed to his manger Mike, then Frank and the finance guy, Phil. Starting from the test drive (we leased an MDX) to the final signatures on the papers, the entire process was very smooth. In fact, we had almost finalized a deal with another Acura dealership but decided to come back to Precision due to Ahmed's better offer and the flexibility they showed in handling our case with the bank (ours was a little complicated due to our immigration status but Precision managed to get all approvals in time without causing us any frustration or wasting too much time). Overall, a great experience in terms of quality of people and service; hoping that the car is also that great and we keep coming back to Precision for future purchases.

Acura Automobiles: Production Versions of ILX and RDX Make World Debuts at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show

The production versions of the all-new Acura ILX and the completely redesigned Acura RDX will make their world debuts at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show, February 8, 2012, Acura announced today.

The 2013 Acura ILX luxury compact sedan is an all-new model positioned as the gateway to the Acura brand. Sleek and sporty, the ILX will feature three distinct powertrains, including Acura's first ever hybrid. The ILX will feature a highquality, well-appointed interior that is smart and spacious. It will offer a number of new, high-value features including a standard Keyless Access System with smart entry and pushbutton start, along with Pandora internet radio interface and SMS text message function for smart connectivity with the world.

The new 2013 RDX, Acura's compact crossover Sport Utility Vehicle, will offer a perfect balance of luxury and utility. The RDX will now be powered by a V-6 engine, producing 33 more horsepower than the outgoing model yet it is expected to offer the best fuel economy of any gasoline-powered luxury SUV in its class. Interior features, such as larger door openings, more passenger room, increased cargo volume and a power rear tailgate make the RDX interior even more accommodating and flexible.

Although there will not be a media press conference, both vehicles will be on display in the Acura booth at McCormick Place, Chicago. Press information and photos will post to www.acuranews.com on February 8, 2012.

How good will the upcoming return of the Acura NSX be? So good, apparently, that despite still being three years out, the supercar has converted well-known Porsche fan Jerry Seinfeld to worship at the altar of the NSX Concept.

Though we wouldn't think the creator and namesake of the hit TV show Seinfeld would need any more money (syndication ftw!), here he is shilling for Acura, obsessed with being first in line for a product that the Japanese automaker isn't expected to begin selling until 2015. Turns out, however, he's not the only comedian with more money than sense who wants an NSX.

Watch the commercial yourself, and help us posit why Acura would spend millions of dollars producing a Super Bowl commercial that doesn't promote any of its currently available products. Couple this commercial with parent company Honda's ad that features Matthew Broderick reprising his role as Ferris Bueller, and we think Honda and company have earned this year's award for spending the most on celebrity talent.

My wife and I wondered in to the dealer at 1:30 on a Saturday generally knowing the model that we wanted. We were both given the chance to test drive the vehicle and were able to work through the new car deal efficiently and separate from our trade-in. Curt described the buying process and pricing in an honest and fair manner. We felt good about the deal we were getting and the honesty of the approach. Curt necessarily took us through all of the sales process steps and checklists. Financing paperwork was fast and efficient. Rust and Dust/Finance and Insurance stuff was offered to us but no pressure at all to purchase. The buying process with financing and trade-in took about five (5) hours, which was a bit long, but we did not make an appointment and we were asking for a same-day delivery to take place on a snowy Saturday, later in the afternoon. The car was delivered in excellent condition - washed, tires shining, full tank of gas, under an awning, in good light. We would recommend the dealership and the sales associate.

Acura Automobiles: Acura Earns Three IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK Ratings

Acura today announced that three of its best selling models received the highest possible safety rating of TOP SAFETY PICK from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) under its more-stringent testing guidelines implemented last year.

The Acura TSX sedan and wagon, TL and MDX earned the highest-possible score of GOOD in all four ratings, including the more rigorous roof-strength test. According to the IIHS, vehicles rated good for rollover protection have roofs more than twice as strong as the current federal standard requires. The IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK award recognizes vehicles that do the best job of protecting vehicle occupants in front, side, rollover, and rear crashes based on ratings in the Institute's evaluations.

All 2012 Acura models utilize the Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure. ACE is an exclusive body design that enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility in frontal crashes. The ACE design utilizes a network of connected structural elements to distribute crash energy more evenly throughout the front of the vehicle. This enhanced frontal crash energy management helps to reduce the forces transferred to the passenger compartment.

Standard safety equipment on all Acura models include Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), dual-stage/multiple-threshold front airbags, front-side airbags with passenger side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS), side curtain airbags for all outboard seating positions, front seats with integrated active head restraints, front seatbelts with automatic tensioning system and load limiters, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Daytime Running Lights (DRL).

Acura announced today that it will unveil three all-new vehicles at the 2012 North American International Auto Show including an all-new compact sports sedan, a redesigned RDX crossover sport utility vehicle, and a concept version of the next generation Acura NSX super car.

The Acura ILX Concept is a styling study of an all-new luxury compact sedan scheduled for launch in spring 2012. To be positioned at the gateway to the Acura lineup, the ILX will feature three powertrains including Acura's first-ever gas-electric hybrid. Acura also will unveil a prototype of the 2013 RDX, the second generation of Acura's five-passenger SUV. Finally, Acura will debut the NSX Concept, which represents the styling direction for the next generation of Acura's super sports car.

"Acura has a steady cadence of exciting new models coming to market and it will all begin in Detroit," said Jeff Conrad, vice president and general manager of Acura sales and service. "From the all-new Acura ILX at the gateway of the lineup to the pinnacle of performance with the Acura NSX Concept, Acura vehicles are being created for luxury customers who aspire to the highest levels of quality and value, with beautiful styling and the right balance of technology, performance and environmental responsibility."

All three vehicles will be introduced at the North America International Auto Show on January 9, 2012. The press conference will be webcast live on www.acuranews.com.

I did some of searching over the internet and visit a couple of my local Acura dealership in VA. Initially, I am only focusing on the Northern VA area. However, one day after I enlarged my search scope, I found one of certified Acura matching my internal "goal" in term of price and performance. Since it is far away from home, I double check the dealership rating. It looks pretty good based on this website. So, over the weekend, my wife and I ended up in Precision. After talking with Ming Poon and the sale managers in Precision, I found they did provide superior service compared with other dealerships. It was my best experience in purchasing certified car. The process is simple and no-hassle. Ming Poon did an excellent job in providing us all the things we need and follow up with us till we are completely satisfied. In the end, it is win-win for both of us. Based on my experience with them, I fully recommend Ming and Precision for all the people looking for Acura.

Sam was a gentleman to deal with. After going through several dealerships (non-acura and acura) I would place my experience with Precision near-top of a very skewed list. My sister and brother in law both bought Acura's in May 2011 and were impressed with the service they received at Precision Acura. I was definitely going to buy a pre owned, certified car and after listening to their experience at Precision Acura I decided to give them a shot. I am a buyer, not a shopper once I make a decision. I had done my research for about 3 wks prior to making my decision on car type and dealership, We scheduled an appointment with Debro Kent and based on my requirements he was able to provide me with the car I wanted in the price point I wanted.Debro was professional and cut to the chase which was one of my requirements as a buyer and not a shopper. I left Precision Acura in my new pre owned, certified MDX. I went back a few days later to get the all weather mats, and Danny in parts was great!!! He not only installed the mats for me but helped me get the Sirius radio working...the customer service in the place is phenomenal!!! The women in administration are friendly and very helpful. Precision Acura scores high marks in customer service which is very important to me when and where I chose to spend my money! Thanks Debro and Precision Acura!!!Hope Copeland
